PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

STUDENT DRESS CODE

All parents/guardians are asked to view the school's uniform requirements HERE. In addition, parents/guardians are asked to pay close attention to the following guidelines below.

Students are not to attend school with:

• Coloured/dyed/bleached strands of hair, sections of hair, pieces of braids or the whole head.

• Nose rings of any size, kind or shape.

• Tongue rings

• Marked Eyebrows

• More than one pair of simple, small stopper earrings placed in the lower lobe.

• Weaves or Braids in styles inappropriate for school. A simple style that can be pulled back into one and not hanging to pose a hazard or distraction to other students.

• Short Skirts. Skirts are to be at least 2 inches below the knee.

• Socks that are not solely black.

• Coloured T-shirts under their school shirt. Physical Education (PE) t-shirts are only to be worn during PE class.

• Coloured Shoes. Shoes are to be completely Black.

• Slippers with or without socks, as this can pose a safety hazard.

• Tightly adjusted trousers/school shirts.

• False Eyelashes

• Polished/acrylic nails

• Makeup of any kind

Parents/Guardians are asked to note that failure to dress students appropriately for school would result in parental conferences, community work, detention, suspension or expulsion of your child, not necessarily in that order.
